Prior to attending in-person training in Michigan, franchisees will successfully complete an online training course developed by our team. Then, we will host you and one other team member at our headquarters for up to 5 days, to train you in every aspect of the business, with both classroom and on-the-job training. We will also join you onsite for three days in your showroom around the time of your Grand Opening. Our team will guide and coach you through everything you need to know to open a cabinet distribution business with confidence. And, of course, you’ll have access to our detailed confidential operations manual, which includes every detail of established operating and sales practices, so you can replicate the business and stand out in your community. The estimated initial investment to begin operations ranges from $119,000 to $170,000. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee for a single territory agreement, and a $10,000 one-time technology fee. We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis. 

We collect a 7% royalty fee based on gross revenues each month, and a $1,500/month design fee (if you leverage our in-house design services). We also collect a technology fee of $325 per month for access our proprietary software and other tools. Fees such as this allow us to fund our ongoing support services, as well as the continued development of techniques and procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. Franchise owners will contribute 2% (this may increase to up to 3%) of gross revenues to the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Exclusively Cabinets brand and cover the creative costs to create marketing materials and campaigns. Franchisees will also be required to invest 1% of gross revenues in local marketing efforts and are expected to spend $4,000 on their Grand Opening within 60 days of opening their showroom. The initial term of your agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years each. With that, you have a business you can continue to grow, and a legacy you can leave for your community and family.
